Spesifikasi PSP-3000

PSP-3000 dikabarkan akan bisa memakai semua aksesoris milik PSP-2000 walaupun Jhon Koller menkomfirmasikan kalau adaptor PSP-3000 mungkin tidak 100% mensupport versi lama, mengingat ada beberapa laporan yang menyebutkan kalau adaptor AC PSP-3000 tidak bisa melakukan pengisian pada PSP versi lama.

Warna perak dari PSP-3000 akan dilempar ke pasaran pada 14 Oktober 2008 dengan harga US$ 199. Paket tersebut berisikan PSP-3000, Ratchet & Clank Size Matters UMD, National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets UMD, PSN Network download voucher dan 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo. Sementara itu PSP-3000 warna hitam akan dibanderol dengan harga yang sama tersedia pada bulan November dengan isi paket berupa sebuah PSP-3000, 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo dan PSN download voucher. Versi core juga akan tersedia pada akhir tahun seharga US$ 169.
